Cable Roundup Summary

Whenever reviewing IEM cables I’m always reminded of an eternal cardinal truth – synergy is king.

The best cable is always the one that pairs best with your particular IEM, and the quality of those pairups can be surprisingly difficult to predict – precisely why many of us own large cable collections, because you never know when that magic IEM + cable combination will come along.

As for these four, they all have their strengths:

  • LC7 is one of the best value cables I’ve come across under $100.
  • FirstTouch is NiceHCK’s most impressively luxurious cable to handle.
  • DragonScale is stiff but is shielded to deliver a really black background.
  • ASOS is the bass champ, boosting the low end of whatever you pair it with.

…but the best thing about cables? They make superb excuses for buying more IEMs to use them with!!
